Taste of Rancho Santa Margarita - October 23

Come join the fun on Saturday, October 23 from 2:00pm to 10:00pm in Central Park, Rancho Santa Margarita!

The RSM Business Alliance together with Rotary Del Sol of Coto de Caza and SAMLARC will be this years event host for the annual Taste of Rancho. However this year is planned to be bigger and better than before with an ALL DAY FESTIVAL type theme!

Food from our local restaurants, crafts and vendors from local businesses, music entertainment and kiddieland for a family filled day of fun!

Easy Chicken with Parmesan Sauce Recipe

Makes 2 to 3 Servings



2 chicken breasts
2 teaspoons Migliore Classic American Seasoning
2 tablespoons Migliore California Extra Virgin Olive Oil
4 cloves garlic, chopped
1/2 cup Migliore Garlic Parmesan Dipping Sauce
1/2 cup dry white wine
1/2 pound mushrooms, sliced
1 medium onion, sliced thinly

Pound chicken breasts to 1/4" thick. Lightly flour and sprinkle with seasoning. In large pan brown garlic, onions & mushrooms in olive oil - approximately 5 to 7 minutes. Set aside. Use same pan and brown Chicken in olive oil, also about 5 to 7 minutes. Add garlic, onions & mushrooms back into large pan with chicken. Add Garlic-Parmesan Dipping Oil, wine and lower heat. Cook until sauce thickens a bit - up to 15 minutes. Serve with pasta, rice or garlic mashed potatoes!

July Recipe Winner - Jan Beard

Dark Cherry Balsamic Vinaigrette
1/2 cup Migliore Balsamic vinegar
1/4 cup sugar
1 Tbs. minced roasted (or sautéed) garlic
1/2 cup cherry preserves
1/4 cup Migliore Pomegranate Balsamic vinegar
1 cup Migliore olive oil
Kosher (or sea) salt
Freshly ground pepper
In a small saucepan over medium heat, bring the balsamic vinegar and sugar to a simmer, stirring frequently to dissolve the sugar. Simmer the mixture, uncovered, until reduced by half, about 10 minutes. Add the garlic and cherry preserves and cook for 1 minute longer. Remove from the heat and let cool. When room temperature, whisk in the Pomegranate Balsamic vinegar and then the olive oil. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Set aside.  May be used as a marinade for beef & chicken, as well as salad dressing.

KFROG's Red, White & Cruise Event

The Red, White & Cruise 4th of July Event had something for everyone! The entertainment was good and there were a bunch of folks that came out. My son & his girlfriend (pictured) worked with me all day into the night.

Fancy Food Show in NY

The Fancy Food Show in New York was a great experience. It was our opportunity to introduce our (8) unique seasonings to the world of "specialty" markets. Our products are currently found in Claro's Italian Markets in Southern California and Super Suppers in Corona.
